MDNSW’s Camp is a week long escape from everyday life that is packed full of great activities, awesome adventures and mostly fun and friendship for people affected by neuromuscular disorders (NMDs)

The demands placed on families affected by Muscular Dystrophy (MD) can be considerable, and exhausting. MDNSW’s camp offers respite for these families, allowing a week of R&R for parents and carers, with the reassurance of knowing that their children will be in the care of professional and dedicated staff. For a child with MD, camp is a chance for them to learn, interact with peers and enjoy experiences they may not otherwise be able to do.

Above all, MDNSW’s camp is a chance for our campers to creating lasting friendships and memories and HAVING FUN!

At MDNSW, we believe that everyone, regardless of age or physical ability should have the same opportunities to experience and enjoy life. Camp provides a unique environment where activities are designed to promote positive self esteem and encourage social interaction and memorable experiences. Camp is about making the most of everyday.
