Neuromuscular Information & Research Day

Everyone has questions about their, or their loved one’s condition, the latest research and treatments. We bring people with questions together with people with answers at our annual Neuromuscular Information and Research Day.

Our annual Neuromuscular Information and Research Day (NIRD) brings together medical professionals as well as individuals living with neuromuscular conditions and their families.

Our goal is to create an environment where everyone can learn more about the current research and experiences of people living with neuromuscular conditions. Each NIRD is filled with insightful presentations, engaging discussions and valuable community building opportunities.

NIRD is for people living with neuromuscular conditions and their loved ones such as parents or caregivers. It is also suited for health professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses and medical researchers and doctors.

Why attend a NIRD event?

  • Learn from the best: Hear presentations from researchers, clinicians and specialists in the field.
  • Ask questions: Engage in Q&A sessions to get personalised answers and advice.
  • Connect with others: Network with fellow community members and professionals to build supportive connections.
  • Discover resources: Explore available resources and support services tailored to your needs.
  • Stay informed: Keep up with the latest research and advancements in neuromuscular conditions.
