UPDATE: Our apologies, but this program is fully booked.
We are holding this years Peer Connect Retreat for adults with a neuromuscular condition in Newcastle from Friday 20 – Sunday 22 May 2022!
The Peer Connect Retreat is a great place to share experiences and ideas, re-connect with your peers, build community and form lasting friendships.
“Being surrounded by a group of people who understood and supported each other gave me the confidence I needed to get through. And they made me laugh and feel the happiest I’d felt in a long time. I forgot about my disability and just had fun, after all, laughter really is the best medicine.” – Marie, Peer Connect Retreat participant. Read all of Marie’s story from the Peer Connect Retreat here.
This is your chance to get away and connect with other adults with neuromuscular conditions. Partners are also welcome. Rydges Newcastle is conveniently located in the heart of Newcastle’s Honeysuckle waterfront precinct, close to the light rail, restaurants, cafes, galleries, museums, accessible trails and the beach.
The retreat is funded by MDNSW Peer Connect Program and NDIS Core funding. We will work with you to prepare a quote if you have NDIS Core funding.
Please note that an up-to-date vaccination status or a valid vaccination exemption certificate is required to attend this event.
