Expanding Our Team for a Sustainable Future under NDIS!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news!

Muscular Dystrophy NSW is making significant strides towards a sustainable future under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). To ensure we can continue offering vital support to our community for years to come, we are investing in growing our team, expanding our fundraising capacity, and making positive changes to our organisational structure.

Expanding Our Team

One of our primary goals is to enhance the level of support and care we provide to individuals and families affected by neuromuscular conditions. To achieve this, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our team by hiring new roles dedicated to various areas of expertise. These new team members will bring fresh perspectives, skills, and energy to our organisation.

We recognize the diverse needs of our community, and by increasing our team, we aim to enhance our ability to provide comprehensive support and become more responsive to your enquiries.

From Community Support Specialists, to volunteering and events planning experts and community outreach and engagement professionals, these new positions will be instrumental in enriching the services we offer.

Boosting Fundraising Capacity

As a nonprofit and registered charity, fundraising plays a vital role in sustaining our operations and expanding our reach. We are committed to strengthening our fundraising efforts to secure the necessary resources for our ongoing programs and services. With the anticipated growth in our team, we will be better equipped to strategise and execute fundraising initiatives more effectively.

We understand the importance of engaging our community in fundraising activities, and we will actively seek opportunities to collaborate with individuals, families, and businesses who share our passion for supporting those affected by neuromuscular conditions. By increasing our fundraising capacity, we can ensure our long-term sustainability and continue to deliver impactful programs that make a meaningful difference in your lives!

Positive Changes to Our Organisational Structure

To optimise our operations and adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of the NDIS, we are implementing positive changes to the structure of our team. These changes will enhance our efficiency, communication, and collaboration, allowing us to better serve our community’s needs.

By streamlining our internal processes, we can be more responsive in addressing the challenges faced by individuals and families living with neuromuscular conditions. Our renewed structure will facilitate better coordination among team members, enabling us to work seamlessly towards achieving our mission to Empower Connect and Support people living with neuromuscular condition, and be an effective advocate for the neuromuscular community!

Looking Ahead

Our commitment to supporting the neuromuscular community remains as solid as ever. The expansion of our team, boosted fundraising capacity, and improved structure signify our ongoing dedication to a sustainable future under the NDIS.

Of course, nothing happens overnight, so these positive changes will take some time to implement, and we will keep our community informed about our progress along the way.

With your continued support, we will continue to evolve, adapt, and empower our community for many years to come.

Thank you for being a vital part of Muscular Dystrophy NSW and joining us on this exciting journey.
