Accessible Housing options

Housinghub.org.au is a national website that advertises properties for people with disability. It is free to use for people with disability searching for housing.

The Housing Hub is an online community where people with disability and housing providers work together to create accessible housing options. They are supported by Summer Foundation.

To assist people with disability realise their choices they:

  1. Develop and share resources to support people to undertake their housing journey
  2. Support people with disability and providers offering housing to share information that builds a quality housing market
  3. Hold events to support people to learn about their options and connect housing providers and housing seekers

Their national team includes people with expertise about their own housing journey.

With the NDIS, you have more choices about where you live and who you live with. The 12 short video chapters talk about your housing choices, including specialist disability accommodation (SDA). 

This workshop has been made for people with disability who are looking for accessible accommodation. Family and supporters can use it too.
