CANCELLATION POLICY

A lot of planning and upfront cost goes into each MDNSW event to make sure our events are safe, fun and engaging for all participants.

Venue costs, accommodation, equipment hire, food and many hours of planning, training and preparation occur. MDNSW reserves the right to charge cancellation fees in the following instances:

Short Stay Programs – Camps and Retreats

MDNSW reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee due to the complex planning, preparation and upfront costs needed for these events.

Cancellation within 1 month of the event may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled cost, and cancellation within 2 weeks of the event may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled cost.Cancellation within 1 month of the event may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled cost, and cancellation within 2 weeks of the event may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the scheduled cost.

Support Coordination

Please provide your MDNSW Client Services Coordinator at least 24 hours’ notice prior to service commencement if you need to cancel your face-to-face appointment either at your home or offsite premises. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a charge of 2 hours will be incurred.
Except in cases of emergencies which are advised by you or your Support Coordinator, failure to notify us for face-to-face appointments may incur a full charge of the scheduled service.

Day Programs

MDNSW reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee due to the planning, preparation and upfront costs that may be involved in the event/activity. The cancellation fee will vary from 50% – 100% of the activity costs depending on the notice given. If MDNSW needs to cancel a planned activity due to unforeseeable events, there will be no charge to participants.

Other Events

Cancellation fees may apply depending on the event.

Termination of event/program/service:

Termination pertains to cancellation due to unforeseeable events that are beyond MDNSW’s control.
